1. Chejo : warmup exercises
The program begins with exercises. Chejo is a program that creates a stable state for various functions of the body, including the muscles, and relaxes the body and mind into a state suitable for practice.
2. Haenggong : a proper posture practice designed to aid breathing practice
Haenggong Practice consists of a total of 12 movements and helps each stage of pratice to progress well. Haenggong is a practice method that focuses 70% on the body and 30% on the mind.
3. Breathing practice
Breathing practice is a step-by-step process. The first stage, Washick (lying posture), is breathing practice performed in a lying position, followed by breathing practices in seated and other positions in the later stages.
4. Hoegeonsul : recovery stretching
Hoegeonsul, referred to as Recovery Stretching, aids in one’s practice by restoring physical health. It promotes the smooth flow of Kienergy and blood, revitalizing the six viscera and six entrails.
5. Dadam : Tea time conversation
It is a time for Seokmun Hoheup practitioners to share their experiences and communicate with each other by telling various stories about their practices and answering questions that practitioners may have about the practice.
